Two turbo powertrains
The standard i-FORCE 2.4L turbo four makes 278 hp and 317 lb-ft. The available i-FORCE MAX pairs that engine with an electric motor and a 1.87-kWh battery for up to 326 hp and 465 lb-ft, the strongest 4Runner powertrain ever built. Both run through an 8-speed automatic.
Real off-road hardware
Built on Toyota's TNGA-F truck platform with genuine trail equipment, not crossover trim. The TRD Off-Road grades add Bilstein shocks and a locking rear differential, Trailhunter is set up for overlanding, and the TRD Off-Road Premium can now be ordered with a stabilizer bar disconnect for extra articulation.
Tow, haul and power your gear
Properly equipped, most grades tow up to 6,000 lbs. Hybrid models add a 2,400-watt AC power supply for running tools or camp gear off the truck. Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard on every 4Runner, with an available 14-inch touchscreen up front.
