Toyota remains supreme when it comes to maintenance costs

When it comes to reliability, there are a few indicators that will bring you back to Toyota, and thanks to this massive study reported by Your Mechanic, the proof is in the data. Based on estimates of total maintenance over 10 years, Toyota costs the least to maintain.1
The study also broke it down to individual models-- which cars cost the most to maintain, and which cost the least. Toyota didn't make the list of highest maintenance cost, but it did have five cars in the top 10 lowest-cost-to-maintain cars. Here's who made the list...

From 'Meh' to Amazing - How Toyota Turned Its LATCH Ratings Around
Most vehicles are equipped with LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children) hardware, designed to make it easier to install child seats. Instead of securing the seat with safety belts, LATCH provides lower anchors and tethers to help you get the right fit.

For the second year in a row (and sixth time overall), the Camry was found to contain the highest proportion of domestically-manufactured components in the Cars.com 2016 American-Made Index. This Toyota sedan supports over 6,000 full-time manufacturing jobs in the U.S.
